Contractors from South Jersey Gas will be working in Elsinboro Township installing gas lines for the availability of Natural Gas to Township Residents.

Below is a schedule of where the crews should be working through the middle of April and contact information if there are any issues or questions for the work crews:

ULS will have 2 crews working our Salem expansion phase 1 project Monday 4/6/26 and will be adding an additional crew Tuesday 4/7/26 to Thursday 4/9/26 (3 total crews). ULS will also be working extended days Friday 4/10 to Sunday 4/12 with one crew possibly 2.

The crew hours will be 7 AM to 530 PM Monday to Sunday..

Natural Gas NOTICE

Location of Crews:

  • Crew 1 will be working on Fort Elfsborg-Salem rd. from Riverview Dr to fort point road

  • Crew 2 will be working on Fort Elfsborg- Hancocks Bridge Rd. from Fort Elfsborg-Salem rd and will be heading East. To about 2400’ West of Amwellbury Rd.

  • Crew 3 will be working on Sinnickson Landing Road from Tilbury to Fort Elfsborg-Salem Rd.

All traffic patterns will be stop and go with flagging operation and access for residence and businesses.

Title: Municipal Clerk & Registrar

Elsinboro Township, Salem County is seeking a part time Registered Municipal Clerk/Registrar of Vital Statistics. The successful candidate will perform all statutory duties of the Municipal Clerk and Registrar of Vital Statistics pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:9-133 and will report to the Township Committee. Candidate must possess both Registered Municipal Clerk and Certified Municipal Registrar Certificates or must have prior experience as a Municipal Clerk or Deputy Clerk and Registered Municipal Registrar or Deputy Registrar. If not certified must be willing to become certified as a Municipal Clerk and Registered Municipal Registrar within time permitted by law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical to this position. Responsibilities include serving as the secretary to the Mayor and governing body, Chief administration officer of elections and licensing, and issuing vital statistics records. Must have experience in preparing meeting agendas, writing resolutions, processing/noticing ordinances preparing minutes, OPRA, financial disclosures, RFP and bid prices, records management, issuing a variety of licenses and permits, and all other duties of the municipal clerk in accordance with State and Local statues. Must attend council and special meetings and be able to work long hours on Election Day as required by law. The candidate should be organized, computer proficient, able to manage multiple tasks, customer service oriented., pleasant, professional, and effective while working with employees, officials and the public.
